Social Responsibility


The company is consciously acting responsibly towards the world we live in.

The obligations with reference to social responsibility are met by observing current national law and by extra focus during international jobs where the conditions are being challenged.

Social responsibility applies to, but is not limited to, the following areas:

Respect for the basic human rights

  • We promote equal opportunities for and treatment of all human beings, irrespective of skin color, race, nationality, social background, disabilities, gender, age as well as sexual, political and religious orientation.
  • We respect the personal dignity, privacy and rights of each individual.
  • We do not use forced labour.
  • We refuse to tolerate any unacceptable treatment of employees, such as mental cruelty, sexual harassment or discrimination

  • We prohibit behavior including gestures, language and physical contact, that is sexual, coercive, threatening, abusive or exploitative.
  • We provide fair remuneration and guarantee the applicable national statutory minimum wage
  • We comply with the maximum number of working hours laid down in the applicable laws.
  • We recognize, as far as legally possible, the right of free association of employees and neither favor nor discriminate against members of employee organizations or trade unions.
  • We employ no workers under the age of 15 or, in those countries subject to the developing country exception of the ILO Convention 138, to employ no workers under the age of 14.

Health and safety of employees

  • We take responsibility for the health and safety of our employees.
  • We control hazards and take the best reasonably possible precautionary measures against accidents and occupational diseases.
  • We provide training ensuring that employees are educated in health and safety issues.

Employees who suffer from any diseases or injuries or whose private lives have undergone fundamental changes must be supported in order to counter unfortunate development. Any support must be adjusted to fit the situation with all due respect for the privacy of each individual employee.

Environmental Protection
The company affect the environment, but we aim at solutions that affect the environment as little as possible. This means among others that we purchase environmentally sound products, reduce the amount of waste and do waste management.

  • We act in accordance with the applicable statutory and international standards regarding environmental protection.
  • We act to minimize environmental pollution and make continuous improvements in environmental protection.

Suppliers 

We depend on our sub-suppliers to observe national law. Moreover, we aim at using sub-suppliers that operate under conditions concerning safety/working environment, environmental impact and employment practices that are equivalent to ours.

Prohibition of curruption and bribery
Preferential treatment of individuals employed by our customers, suppliers or Third Parties in anticipation of quid pro quo is not acceptable. This means that the company’s employees are not allowed to offer anyone any bribery or gifts. Likewise, it is not acceptable to receive such contribution.

We tolerate no form of and of corruption or bribery, including any payment or other form of benefit conferred on any government official for the purpose of influencing decision making.
